Sakshi Rawat Dhoni, a Kolkata girl, is studying hotel management and was working as a trainee at the Taj Bengal when the two of them met two years ago.

Sakshi Singh Rawat is a 20 year old 3rd year student at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad, and she has recently completed her training at Taj Bengal’s front office.

It is also reported by sources that Dhoni cut his long hair short, since Sakshi likes short hair. She also attends all of Dhoni’s hair cutting sessions.Sakshi Singh was seen with Dhoni on her 21st birthday on the 19th of November. They even went for a rickshaw drive together in Aurangabad. Dhoni has also gifted Sakshi an iPhone.

The wedding stumped the media and the fans as it took place only a day after the couple got engaged. Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu, a close friend of Dhoni, was quick to inform the media that the wedding was planned for months and was not a spur of the moment decision.
